The first session will review the changes that have taken place since the last conference.  All syndicate groups will be asked to consider four main questions:

  1. To what extent do you feel the recommendations of the last conference have been implemented?

  2. Have you noticed any difference in dealing with the provider bodies since the conference in 2005?  Has your experience in interacting with the service providers been better, worse or much the same?

  3. Better co-ordination was seen as an important aspect of the work of the provider bodies at the last conference.  Have you seen any evidence of a more joined up approach being taken by the provider bodies?

  4. Are people generally better aware of the organisations  involved in police welfare and how to access those services?
